Alpentouristik was founded over 30 years ago by Tom Niederer, a transportation expert
& visionary who embraced the use of technology to manage transportation logistics from the very start.
Headquartered in Austria (Salzburg province) Alpentouristik is a privately owned business (associated with Alpine Connect GmbH)
which provides transport & excursion planning and management services primarily for the travel industry.
Today, the business is managed by Alexander Niederer and his team of operational staff and drivers.
Partnerships and business development are covered off by the team at Alpine Connect.
Alpentouristik customers include tour operators large and small, transfer only providers, travel service aggregators, airlines, tourist offices and hotels.
From the very start Alpentouristik has used proprietary software to ensure the smooth
management of hundreds of vehicles and thousands of customers.
The company has continued to invest heavily in technology
not only to support its own operation but also to provide some larger customers with system access
and bespoke developments to meet their individual needs including full vehicle tracking.

Gordon handles customer communications and leads business development initiatives.
